View Full Version : pant job
how much would it cost to get a nova spayed.
the car is black and i just want it painted again in black as the last paint job was very badly done. i have the paint and everthing needed. all pprep work done
How much did you pay for your last paint job? Could the reason why it was such a bad job be because it didn't cost you very much? I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for". Also, it's imposible to answer this question realistically as all body shops vary in price. However, if your after a ballpark figure I'd probably say you could get a "blow over" for a couple hundred.

lots of people ask this question n its hard to answer because a respray can cost ?0 up to about ?2000 dependin on where you go and how gudda job they do and wot paint u want etc.just get quotes from recommended sprayers.
Only very skilled bodyshops can perfect a Black car, Black paint shows up any imperfections, dents & ripples.
If you have a small budget, then don't bother with Black (please)
there's nothing worse than a shabby nova.
I'm having mine done now in Black & it's costing me 1k.
My previous Nova in Black cost me ?650.

Full Preparation
Full Respray (exc. Engine Bay)
Arches Rolled
Door Locks removed
One Wiper hole removed
Tailgate Lock removed
Paint was Porsche Black (Non Metallic)
Results were very very good, I'd say 8.5 out of 10 !

as most people know black is a nightmare to paint.
you should see what the f**kwits have done to my car, looks like its been done with matt black spray cans!!
waitin to save some money and get it done properly!!
Atleast all the prep work is done and the only money ive lost is for the paint and equipment used. :?
Save the extra and get it done somewhere reputable i.e where ur friends have their cars done!
