View Full Version : Door removal
Is it possible to get a door off without the special tool?
Might just grind em off!!  :o :o
Mine were a bitch to get off even with a toll. I used some pliers and a hammer for one door + LOADS of WD40

WD 40, mole grips, a big hammer and elbow grease. It is do-able ive done it before. Might need new pins though if you wreck 'em!

i took one of mine off yesterday, just took a grinder to the hinges
jus cut holes on outside of the door so i cood see where they were and got stuck in
Like alex said they are an arsehole to get off even with the tool, just grind them off
I took mine off with the special tool, came off fairly easily with the help of a coating of wd40!
leant Alex the tool an he didn't get on with it think Will has it atm
I think mine were as good as welded on so the tool/me wasnt up for it.
Normally the tool works great as i have removed doors before using one
1 of my hinge pins had snapped so the tool couldnt go through, so i took an angle grinder to it
Angle Grinders are so much fun  :P
