Repairing fibreglass bumper??

Just been talkin to Ste and he reckons when u repair a fibreglass bumper it always re-cracks...

anyone ever had to repair one and whats ur experiences with it after u've repaired it

i rebuilt and customised a novadose front bumper about 2mnths ago and its fine atm touch wood

I repair them all the time and never have any problems, i even repair standard plastic bumpers using fibreglass.

I supose it all depends on how you repair the crack, if you just slap fibreglass into the crack then dont expect it to last long, the way i do it is to remove the bumper and repair the crack from the inside.
