bit of cosmetic's really, just gunna smooth it out, spray it up n get it looking good.

Not sure if i gunna sell it or not, as i've got 2 cars atm and cant drive...yet

Only paid ?200 for it, tho we nearly lost it of back of truck hehe.

the mini cost my bro ?125 but its a non runner so our first aim is to strip it, stage it then re-build it.

Ah mine was a runner, some kids car who left it rotting down somerset. So my dad picked it up for me. Needs 3 arches welding, a balljoint for MOT.

the body isnt that bad to be honest. needs a new door skin, 2 new sills and thats about it really. will keep the pics coming.

Hope you arent going to mince around with some piece of litter a series engine for it and instead you are going to fit something decent like an XE!

I am a member there allready, top bunch of guys for advice etc and the MOT threads are well handy.

Buggar an XE, u want twin hayabusa's in it hehe. I am keepin my 988 engine for awhile, then might get a conversion.

Anyway, off to do some spraying.

Yes mate i own those sites, although obviously thats just a technicality, like NL its a case of the users make the site, and really its the users that own it, its also pretty much always been paid for entirely by contributions by the users and from advertising so even more so its a site that belongs to the people that use it.

Originally i wrote a complete site for it with places to upload users cars etc, but it just ends up costing a load of bandwidth and its the forums that people mainly use anyway so i just went back to purely the forums and its been like that for years now.

mini i built my girlfriend (cally) to drive in, registration was c19lly but we mess around with it to look like her name, dont worry it wasnt held on with cable ties for long, that was just to drive it home from the workshop when the paint was dry, this one is off the road at the moment, waiting for a 1380cc when i get the chance

Started on front finally, pics are getting abit big so i've posted em on an area of my webspace. Its getting there, shame i run out of paint tho :( lol, finish it another day.

yup, had abit of pratice working with em at me dads, so i'm doing it that way. Plus its cheaper then bringing up the spray gun, buying paint n thinners etc.

Plus its only small patches which need it. Its gettin there, slowly but surely. Might finish it this week if i can find the cash for more paint :?

Took the back bumper back off, as the 2 side bolts wouldnt screw on, due to a kink in the valence/boot panel, so i'll hammer or clamp it to sort that out.

aparently my grandads older brother's son's john cooper but i don't know for deffo as me granddad didn't get on wiv his brother so if he is i didn't meet him :(

Just got rid of the other car, n gained 2 more....lol

But we are starting the MOT work for mini soon, so its ready for me passing my test.
