How do i go about fitting a solnoid to my boot and are they hard to fit?

position it so it will pull that metal bar up and stick a screw in it

the wirings the hardest part.

verry verry easy, if u gremove old boot crap (lock) you will then be able to position the osloniod above the small metal pole that pulls the relise, then all u do is screw/bold it to the boot frame work (youll see how wiht the solonoid in place) then just wire up the soloniod to a switch and ur done, if u need more hlpe just pm me

hi i tryed the solonoid idea but it seems i need powere to bring the solonoid bk in to position as it will only open once lol

maplins do a 2 wire solonoid for about ?7, its easy to wire up, i ran mine off of the rear wiper coz i got a smooth boot, but if you need to use your wiper then u need 2 run power to it from the front of the car

my problem isnt the solenoid,i have that,my problem is that it will only open once and thats it,i need a way so that i can open it and then bring it into position for nxt time i want it open

i used the solonoid and switch in my old nova out of xr2i,cost me a ?8 from the breakers in sittingbourne
