Hey everyone I'm new to this site I got a G reg nova sting the other week it's my first car :D and first project  and I was wondering about some things.
Ok so um the front speakers are they in the the dashboard because I can't see any speakers in the doors?
After looking at the guide about smoothing a bumper I think I could apply this to removing the sting badges/stickers from the sides and back. Is the is the case?
How would I go about removing rust? Theres only a little on the arches its not rusted right through.
How big can I go with wheels before getting any problems I don't really wanna be messing around with rolling the arches and stuff wud 16's be ok with say, 3 in the back?
Should I go BB2 or 4 or is there a nice s/s alternative for about the same price I'm not to botherd about sound I don't wanna take off lol.
I had a few more like interior neons and gettin the nova badges off but they have been awnserd already :D
Thnks alot

to remove the badges and stickers use a heat gun or a hair dryer to soften them then peel them back, after they r off use some tar and glue remover to get rid of the gluey residue left b hind.
for the rust rub it down wiv sand paper untill u get to clean metal, then apply some red oxide to stop it from rusting and then primer it and spray last.
for the rims wiv out ne arch mods if ur going to lower it u'll b looking at 15's wiv the correct et49mm off set but the rear might rub depending on how low u go(if atall)

if u lower it go -40mm all round looks nice and all u'd have to do is grind the lip of the inside of the rear arches(but if u do make sure u don't grind the lip right back leave a little bit to keep the inner and outter arches joined toghether still, then use some red oxide on the bare metal and then paint it to stop the rust from getting hold of it!#
p.s. if u do lower it and go 4 15's use 195/50/15's and u shudn't have ne probs if the rear arch lip is taken back

How much would a set of springs cost?
A set of lowering springs costs around 60-70quid. But it would be a lot better to get a lowering kit(uprated dampers and springs), costing around 220 for Gmax ones.
As for exhausts i wouldn't bother with a Peco, most people say they are crap.
You could get something like a Rage backbox, which are nice, go for either a 3inch exit or 4inch depending on how loud you want it.
Or get a Sportex backbox from somewhere like Motorworld, i have heard very good reviews for these and they are cheaper than Rage and Peco. The stainless steel versions sound and look nice.
I would try and stretch to a full exhaust system though, it will give you the best if any, power increase. Again Sportex do full systems.
As for speakers, i think they are in the dash, any replacement speakers( round components or 6x9's) will give you a much improved sound compared to the cheapy Vauxhall items.
there might be guide here to smoothin the bumper off
http://www.nova-land.com/
the speakers are in the dash if u decide to uprate them there 10cm ones i think
the wheels am 99% sure ull have to grind the arches as urs is a mk1 and mk1's didnt have as much arch clearence as mk2's
i didnt have to grind mine luckly but u **** get a knats pube between the gap lol
also where in lincs r u
lincoln is it or an area in lincolnshire

Thanks everyone, Is it hard to replace the speakers in the dash cus it sounds like i might have to take it all out. Just one more question lol I'm going for the smooth sort of look, nice clean and simple what bumbers would be best to replace the standards ones for this?
