mine does the same, i have GSI clocks in mine. Mine does it cos the oil pressure gauge isnt connect to anything on it.
I think it should go to max when you start your car up, and then fall to the middle once the car has warmed up.
So what does yours do, read whatever it feels like

ur pressure should be high while ur oil is cool as its more thick, then when hot will be thinner and settle down, also may blip if u give it some throttle... thers a bleed off valve which can be adjusted to increase or decrease pressure...

thats usually a dodgy connection on the oil pressyre sensor on the engine, try cleaning up the contacts on the sender, bolted on the oil pump

ONly top spec nova's have the oil pressure gauge fitted as standard. If u spawwed ur clocks and its not reading anythinkg then u Don't have the sender unit.
