Brake Problem!

whilst driving the past few weeks i noticed that the cars a bit sluggish, so i got out and checked the brake dicks (touched them) then my hand sizzled! :o
the right one was hot and the left one was real hot! :x
is this the calipers?
would they cause the car to veer to one side when braking also??
and are the hard to fit?

Its definetely the calipers, they are seizing up, you may be able to free them off by stripping the pistons and slides out of them giving them a clean and applying new grease or you may find they are knackered and are not worth trying to repair, it should be easy to source other calipers, if you decide to try cleaning and greasing them up it may be worth changing your pads make sure you grease the back of the pads when putting them back in and that they move freely in the caliper.

dont forget to make sure the caliper moves freely on the slider too, if not take the cal off the slider, clean and regrease. Get some new rubber seals from vaux tho, they never go back on perfect.
