4/6 dial clocks in mk1 merit

will sr/sri/gte/gti 6 dial dash clocks fit in place of my horrible 3 dial ones in my mk1 nova? is it just a straight swop?

best thing 2 do is give us a pic.......if you want a rev counter then it wont b a straight swap

basicly i jus want a revcounter in my car, and thought this would be the easiest way. i was told there is a wire in the loom to control a revcounter?!

there may be. If not all you have to do is run a wire from the -ve on your coil upto the dash.

:? which coil, the igniton coil? where is it in the engine of 1.2, carb, '88?

The ignition coil is in the bottom right of the engine bay, you should spot it because it should have a big lead going to the dizzy from it.
