I need to uprate my headgasket for my R5 I have an old fiesta at home would I be able to replace the headgasket from the fiesta onto the R5?

thats a v stupid question. You dont want to start modding headgaskets your just gonna b asking for trouble. especially on a r5 when all the power comes from turbo.

Ford parts dont usually fit french cars but i could be wrong......not!

seriously though if you want uprated head gasket for an R5 you can get a group A steel 1 from a r5 tuners called EUROPARTS on 01782330048. The Guy who owns it IAN NIXON is the one who had the twin engine 500bhp v fast r5. he sold that for 27k! If you mention my name or my car RED NOVA 2L Turbo, he will do u a good deal mate.

christ almighty,ive heard it all now! a head gasket will cost bugger all compared to the damage you would do to the engine fucking about like that! even a cossie grp a gasket cost 50 odd quid so it aint gonna be expensive for a std r5 job is it?

head gaskets aint really that cheap, ive just been quoted ?160 for a set for the V8

well if anyone wants one im sure i could fix one up, you just need some neon tubing bend it into shape of the gasket then stamp on it really hard(this is important to get it thin) then bolt it down under the head, job done. Plus you can show all your mates your amazing glowing head gasket next time pop your bonnet. :lol:
