door pods

im looking 4 front door pods for some speakers i went into halfords and they aint got any nor have motor world (were limited down here for modin shops lol) they recon they dont make any 4 a nova which i think is bollocks they only place i found said they can make me sum but i'll be looking at a hefty price. dose any1 know of were i can buy or order some of the net or in cornwall cheers guys

Custom door pods are going to be the only way you'll get what you're after. Halfords do a type of door pod, but it's really a piece of plastic that allows you to mount a speaker (probably a 6" speaker) onto the door card. It will protrude from the door card by about an inch.

What size speakers are you trying to fit?

there 129mm round speakers dont no what that is in inches

Mate you can make these do easy especially if u have mk2 door cards. just build up a few layers of mdf then get the mesh and fiberglass filler to shape it then get them trimmed i will send u a pic of mine if u email me

i was thinking of mounting some 6 x 9's in my doors....

if you dont want the hassle of making any door pods, Quad conversions make some for a nova.

I know they have been revamped slightly as when I bought them they didnt fit very well, so I helped them out a bit with new design ideas and they went and fixed em.

They did come with speakers, but not sure if they do now.

If thats not wot ur after then you will have to make them. Not that hard really, just takes a bit of time.

no worrys now m8s ive mad sum up they'll do 4 a min look a bit tatty but they'll do till i get5 sum done profestionaly cheers 4 ya help
