Would this be unsafe to do so as I would like to paint mine white?

u cant paint the disks unless you simply mean the hub part of it

as for the calipers its safe as long as u dont get paint on the sliders or the piston seals

Most good motor factors will do a kit for painting calipers/drums.

You could use heat resistant paint but i have read on migweb many a time that a couple of coats of hammerite does the job just as well. The trick is to get the caliper as clean as possible before you apply the paint. I still recomend heat pait like Jim said.

hammerite works just as well with 2 coats that calliper paint is like 15 quid n hammerite is a fiver.use a wire brush to get shit off then sand it.

VHT looks good, nice satin silver, but not tacky like aluminium silver

you love hammerite Novax, you are always mentioned when engine block painting comes up on mig :)

if you use heat resistant paint on engine blocks it can hinder heat dissipation ( or radiation or whatever the hell its called when you loose heat lol ) putting extra strain on your cooling system.

after a while the hammerite cures nicely and the smell soon goes :)

Sorry if thats not what you where on about :D
