do these make a big difference to standard ones? Does the engine run any better or give out any more power.

when i had my last r/r i had super 4 plugs in the car and i used 8mm silicone leads. This time i just used standard plugs and standard leads just to guage the difference and got exactly the same result.

If your standard ignition system is providing a good clean satisfactory spark, changing to 'uprated' equiptment will not help at all.

To add to Dan's point about multi electrode plugs, there only benefit is to increase life span, wearing four points slowly rather than one. The best ignition will come from one clean powerful long spark, whereas the multi elctode plug will just find the shortest easiest route.

I find that champion leads are far better quality than bosch or halfords, and I was happy with Mafco leads. I had some flash leads on my Nova but wish I'd saved my money.
