Crunchy Window?

Hello,
For some reason the other day my drives window decided not to open, the passanger window opens. Ive taken the drivers door card off and had a look. It looks as if a cable or something has snapped? Would i be able to replace this or the whole thing? Know of any decent places to try and get one?

If you've got leccy ones does the button work, need more info mate.

Yeah leccy windows i must add, and yeah the button works, you can hear it churn over but the window doesnt come down! :?
