Welding...???

i have noticed that my car is sitting lower at the back-right than it is on the back-left... :roll: thought the shock may hav been gone :?
i was at the local mechanics the other day gettin an exhaust fitted ok...
he told me i needed some welding done because the shock had gone up inside the car?? :o
so im gonna get it done....he quoted ?40 - ?50
but i jacked it up etc... anf can see nothing that is visibly wrong :?
so im a bit confused...
if anyone could elp, it would b apreciated

p.s - i wasnt really listening to the bloke tell me wat was wrong because i was too eager to get my car on the road and hear the exhaust!! :lol:

Simple, open the boot and remove the black round cover thing from on top of the strut (just pops off) and if the struts broken through into the boot you'll soon be able to tell :(

everythings sound..so im a bit baffled

He might mean the cup at the top where the spring seats on the rear.

Thats a common rust spot on the Nova.
