fitting 17's

wandering how easy is it to fit 17's to a 1.2 nova merit
i am lowering 60 mm on gmax shockers and springs. also fitting a full abyss bodykit if tht makes any difference.
Do i just have to grind some of the lip of the arches?

It entirely depends what offset wheels your going to get and what tyres (make) you'll be using.... Some will fit with no mods, others will need the inside arch hammering in and the outside lip cutting back or ideally rolling. The bodykit won't make any difference.

they will rub, i have just put on some 16 inch alloys and had to higher my car back up to about a 70+ drop instead of the massive drop i had before. Being a 5 door i thought i could ram the wheels right in the arches but i doesnt work like that. yes you will need to roll back the arches or cut them which ever.
