fitting 17's

wandering how easy is it to fit 17's to a 1.2 nova merit
i am lowering 60 mm on gmax shockers and springs. also fitting a full abyss bodykit if tht makes any difference.
Do i just have to grind some of the lip of the arches?

as long as the OFFSET (ET) is as close to the vauxhall 49 as it can be it should be ok with grindimg some of the lip off, ill be best folding the lip back. most alloys are offset 45. others might know more.

with 17's you'll be wanting a 45mm offset, otherwise they'll catch on the inner arch/shock.

The arches WILL need modifying. Though you'll likely only need to have the 'lips' on the arches cut back.

Don't get anything wider than 7" either. Just to make sure.

so i will only need to cut the rear arches not widen them or anythin, with tht size of drop with a set of 17 with an offset of 45 - 49,
dont mind cutting th arch just dont want to bother getting wider arches put on
