I am putting t40's from nova sport onto 1.4 sr

at the mo need a throttle cable as the standard one is too short!

and the top tensioner bracket for the alternator is too short

Any suggestions where i can get these from or let me know if you know anybody selling them- I need these asap

u'll also obviously need a different oinlet manifold, unless u are shaping ur's to fir.

Sport 40's manifold will fit a 1200 head also so if u can get one to swap then that would be better, also rais c/r a bit. Keep the 1.4 cam though.

got the right manifold that fits fine-bought it brand new so know it is correct one. (square ports)

just need the parts- have called a few places up and they know this is a problem when fitting webers- a lot of places have stopped making them

any suggestions?

you need a flexy gasket between cabs n inlet , as standard ones are too riged n can cause manifold to crack when under high revs ! as i found out on some 45s on a valver ! have you got facet pump n regulater ?

Take a look on ebay, theres usually manuals on there for installing and tuning webers

Not having the correct cable isn't the end of the world. I used a Cav GSi one and added the correct fitting to it. Is a Nova GTE/GSi one to short? That has the right end for the Nova sport linkage.

I assume you have the correct bottom bracket for the alternator, so the top one is the problem. I bolted two brackets together to lengthen the top one, cut off the excess with a hacksaw and it worked fine.
