Let making blowing sound

When ever i am cruising at 7000rpm i always get a blowing sound from under the passenger seat. i have checked the exhaust ect for blowing but had no luck finding anything, the other thing, i had a set of 18s on it now i wanna go mad an whack some 12s (mini wheels) with a bit of modding they should fit on, anyone know how it will run with these on

Does it do it constantly unitl 7k or just at 7k, u may have a hole in the floor of ur car, drilled holes for buckets maybe? Just guessing

u "cruise" at 7k?

crusing is generally left to 5th (or 6th) and i doubt the noise from under your passenger seat would be the main focus of attention while doing 150+ in a nova :roll:

it could be the handbrake cable hitting the zorst tho

say i am goin to sainsburys to pick up the weekly shopping driving along a 40 in 2nd gear,(that is the gear i useually use for up to 60) thtas when it starts making the noise, the noise has started hissing really loud

does it run ok??no boosting problems or anything?
was gonna say it could be an air/boost leak maybe?

I've read in a previous post that he runs 20psi on his standard LET! Go back it werent that long ago.

As has been mentioned check the handbrake cable.

And yeh, he sold that LET to sum1 10 mins after the post! And the 18's went after one hour! He said to me in an email that he had had over 200 replies to that post!!!!!!
