hi ive jus done a quick mock up of my quad headlights and they look as if they dont line up very well at all! The passenger side will fit with a little work but the drivers side seems hopeless. I know im not a bodyshop but i think they will need quite a bit of work to get them to fit. Has any1 else bought and fitted these to ur car, any help, or better - instructions lol would be great!

Depends what type you have. Quadconversions *used* to do a set for the Mk2 but not any more, so its not likely to be those, altho it may be possible to pick up an old second hand set.

For the Mk1 you can get lights that either replace the headlamp and indicator, or just the headlamp (i.e. retain the indicator). The ones that replace the headlamp and indicator win't fit on yours (assuming its your feature car) without Mk1 wings; the latter ones that retain the indicators ought to fit.

Has the car ever suffered any front end damage? The front panel might be a little out of shape. I'm also assuming the quad lamps are fibreglass, so its unlikely they will be a perfect fit.

yeah theyre mk1 quad headlights and ive got mk1 wings fitted now to fit the lights. I dont know if they are original quad conversions 1s but they are fibreglass and say 'fibresport 97' along the top where they fix onto the front panel like normal headlights. Everything on the car is straight is has recently had a full new front panel. Does any1 recognise the fibresport or have any fitting instuctions?

yep, u can use places like photobucket. If you can find a pic of them on the net already, then just use the [img] tags to link to it, u don't need to host it anywhere yourself
