so long as the rear springs don't drop out when you jack it up it ought to be fine

keep an eye on tyre wear as well, they could fail you for uneven or badly worn tyres.

i had my suspension set to hard apparently when i had my last MOT, they told me there was no play in the suspension which seemed a bit weird. Cant see that was a problem. Only problem with lowering is if it is rubbing really bad on the arches or springs falling out.

one simple solution for all the problems mentioned

Coilovers

FK do a budget set for ?375 Drop your car up to 80mm
But the bonus is you can have it as high as you want for mot
