can the sr vinals be bought new? i have a 1.3 sr but the front passengers wing was rusted so i had to get a new one! id like to replace the vinal on it?

i think you can buy the vinyl package from vauxhall .

but it's hard to put on without getting any bubbles :+:

I've got a 1.3 SR with a rotten tail gate :( My car being a rare colour means Its hard to come by second hand examples with 1.3SR in the vynal, can that still be bought?

when puting the vinyl on get a bucket of medium hot soapy water (washing-up liquid).
taking the backing off the vinyl and pull the vinyle thought the water making sure there aint no bubbles on there
stick it on anywhere on the door as you can move into place when on
move to the correct place and get a credit card or simular and pull the water to the edges with that
you get rid of all the bubbles and water this way
dont drive for 24 hours as it will just fall off and make sure it is in a warmish place
if some on the edges dont stick down at first dont worry and in the morning just push them to the car and it will stick
