My Renault 5 GT Turbo will do 103mph standard.

It will do about 120 once I get her tuned to the eyeballs
Would Lexus rears increase speed or just make it look darn good fast?

I could do 100 in my 1.2 with a 2e3 on.
Are R5gt's 5-speed?

1) modify the air box, cut big hole at base of air box, feed pipe from grille to the botto of the air box. ram induction DIY.
2) remove any weight from the car, strip it
3) put the highest octane fuel you can buy in it
My Renault 5 GT Turbo will do 103mph standard.
What's that got to do with anything? They're supposed to do 120mph anyway. I never took mine over 110, but big deal.

haha you sure someone didnt sell you a 1 litre and tell you it was a GT turbo. I doubt you have one or can even drive.

j plate is fine
get an Sri exhaust manifold and a GTE downpipe and system
that should unleash a few horses and will decat it too
make SURE u get the sri manifold tho
its the only one with a lambda probe hole
as i said that stuff is all available at a scrap yard and will make it quicker
if u wanna get a bit more involved switching the cylinder head with a 1300 one (or even a 1200 carb) and matching up the inlet manifold with that will unleash a few more ponies along with installing a 1.4 sr cam
dont bother drilling the airbox just remove the black duct thing that goes towards the front (if u imagine the whole filter asembly as a frying pan y wanna remove the handle ;) ) and make sure you SEAL that vacuum hose that usually goes to the valve on the duct - i used a lighter to melt it closed
removing that duct will give u a meaty induction noise too :)
