get a peice of string and run it from the centre of the back passenger side wheel to the centre of the pront passenger side wheel, note the length by putting a not in the string, now do the same the other side, if its a different lenght between the 2 centres then one of ur wish bones has had a knock and will need replacing!!

Cars are designed to pull to the left slightly so you hit the kurb rather than have a head on crash.
The camber of the road also makes it go to the left.
Try on a completely flat road with no camber,it should go VERY slightly to the left.
Do the string check of the wishbone position as above, they are only cheap new, buggered wishbone inner bushes dont help either.

funny you should mention that - mine is similar - i think i'll get another wishbone and put it on when i get the new bushes for it as i hit a kerb pretty hard with the left hard alloy

That is bollocks! if you dont touch the wheel in a car with correct suspension geometry, it will go straight ahead!

Hi,

It is a mystery really as the distance between wheels is crap, mine is 1" further forward on the O/S and on perfectly flat roads, i.e new tarmac carpark, it will go in a straight line. Because of offset and fat tyres it will follow the road if uneven. Erm follow quite badly!

I would say it would be to do with the alignment of the wheels, camber may play a part in this too, generally old hubs go oval where they bolt to the struts, making the camber wrong and different on each side, or the rack could be worn out more on one side, the teeth CAN be worn more on one side from continueos turning one way and lead to a loose side or a mind of it's own!
