DO NOT i repeat DO NOT get goodridge braided hoses. they arent up to spec as far as the teflon lining goes

Earls supply full kits or just the parts to make your lines. you should be using -3 or -4 thickness telfon, and goodridge use -2 (used in milking parlors ffs lol)

jsut so you know.

oh and to do it properly its a bt expensive, but hey atleast you know they will be reliable.

personally, no.

you get what you payfor.

but most people wouldnt be fussed about fitting those. not saying that they are dangerous or anything, but my own personal feelings are if you are gonna go braided, do it like the pros do it

rally design do euroquip or goodridge.

either of them any good?

euroquip hoses look quite beefy?

main point im getting at is it worth getting braids or use std. items?

i apreciate your saying dont bother with the el cheapo kits camb...

We never used to have any problems with goodridge break hoses on our rally car. They are alot better over the standard thing because the break fluid has no way of pushing outwards when you press the pedal unlike the standard ones.

i got euroquip ones from rally design and there combi disc too. the braking in my car was to say the least 100% better.
i give them the thumbs up and would highly recomend them.

Go to a local hose specialist and they will make up what you want while you wait.
Hose supplies in bolton made a complete hose set for my mate in -3 teflon lined, stainless overbraid hose with stainless fittings, that included All hoses from the master cylinder to the calipers and drums for use on his rally nova, cost ?80 ish and took about 30mins to make.
Just four flexi hoses for the calipers and rear beam from the same place using the same stuff cost me ?23.
Its the same hose used by big rally teams so it the proper stuff, its named " heavy duty brake/hydraulic hose" in there catalogue.

would that fleix hose company have to have a set of hoses to copy?

or if i said what it was for would they have some on a shelf?

i dont know what to do.

looking at rally design the euroquip ones look bigger in diameter than goodridge ones they stock.

then theres the hi-spec ones at POTN i found.

i spose anything has to be an improvement on mine! - goodridge and the like seem very popular? im sure people wouldnt use them if there was anything major wrong with 'em ?

To be honest if you could tell any difference in braking performance between any of the different braided hoes i would be amazed.
They only give a small benefit over standard at the best of times.
That hose place need either hoses to copy or a good description of what you want,i.e.length and type/thread size of fitting.
From that hose place they are designed for hydraulic systems which run at many times more pressure than a braking system so are well over specced for brakes, which is good, and they are cheaper just cause they dont have a brand on them.
