Twice this week ive seen older guys (50+) drvin round in performance Nova's. Yesterday i saw a guy who looked like 65ish with his wife in a Nova GTE. It was an absolute minter and wen i checked he was the only owner and it was an F plate. Absolutely standard. :P On monday i saw a standard SRi also been driven by an older guy and again completly mint. I guess these people just know how to look after cars or all the young people just rag them about.
Wish my car was as mint
*cough* CP *cough*

You've heard that one aswell then
indeed, we were sat cross legged by the fire, and he was in a rocking chair (tartan blanket over his legs) and a pipe in hand. after that story he told us of the things he did in the war.
When he told me I got a Wurthers Original
"coz you're someone special too...."

There is an old couple round my way with a red Gte it looks pretty clean also
My uncle bought a new 1.4SR from Vauxhall in 1991. He must have been mid 50 when he bought it. I then bought it from him in 1999. It was in fairly good condition, but i've since butchered it

where abouts was this mate :?:
to be honest these are the kind of people that you want to buy nova's from, because if it's in mint condition then they've obviously looked after it.
I even thought about leaving a note under the wiper saying im a vauxhall nova club member and an enphusiast(sp) and am interested in their car if they come to sell. with a mobile number.
But then if the car got nicked i suppose i could be the first sucpect!
I reconm its better to buy from a old person if the car is mint.

I am 26 in a week does that make me old?
Its funny when my dad drives my car. When i go away my dad has a habit of pinching my car out of the garage. I get phone calls from friends saying your dads out in your car again, 56 years old and blatting round sutton coldfield in a 16v nova  whats he like!

lmao, my dad used the nova a few weeks back to go to work, he got pulled over and done for not having a seat belt on! lol!
he blamed it on me having a 'boy racer mota' lmao
my dad drove my car the other day, jsut to give it a run as its not been driven since mid jan.
and to charge the battery the bastid (and i quote from him) "i jammed a pen between the throttle pedal and the little parcel shelf thing and left it for an hour"
i think ill be stealing his megane for a week lol
