Should be a straight swap m8!!
The 1.3 would be the better engine to tune tho!!!

why?
i've tuned my 1.4sr with a 1.2 head weber 32/34 carb and a few other bits

swap engine but put your 1.3sr head and manifold on the 1400 block, then put the 1.4 cam shaft in the 1300 head.
That should see you to 75-77bhp.

Ive always been told that the 1.3 engine is better to tune than the 1.4, prob cause of the valves beening slightly bigger???

correct the 1.4sr head is cr@p
which is why ste said he changed it  if your tuning it all out then it dosent matter what engine you have does it because if your swapping things like heads etc its irelevant.
if your keeping the engine a standard 1.4 once in and youve got a standard 1.3 dont bother unless theres something wrong with your 1.3 lump.
