hi

just had a look on epc, and there isnt a variation in drive shafts for the nova, one part no. seems to suit all.

my base car is a 1.0 j reg and i am fitting a 2.0 xe, using cav 1.6 gl inner cv's and nova drive shafts. i was advised to use nova gte 22 spline shafts, and i cannot find them on epc, it shows one shaft to suit all.

very confused, and seeking urgent help!

cheers

i'm no expert on driveshafts or 2.0 conversions but i allways presumed you needed 22 spline GTE shafts

They do differ from nova to nova tho....

some of the gtes were fitted with shafts made by saginaw

they are different but since vaux sells the whole thing as one unit they dont list the different varieties

the saginaw made shafts have only 22 splines on the inboard end of the driveshaft - the GM ones had 28 splines

u need to find saginaw shafts from a gte somewhere :)

22 teeth ones from the scrap yard... 1.0 ones will not do
