mk2 saloon 2 door HELP

did they make a nova 2 door saloon in the mark 2 form. i can only find 2 door mark 1's. im in desperate need of a 2 door mk2. as i cant be bothered to do all the interior and front end to update it

can someone provide me with a 2 door saloon i had one and sold it and im feeling the withdrawl syptons of the precise handling that they offer. someone please find me one must be black or white :wink:

how much you want for your saloon has it got mot any pics yet you lazy git. i presume its for door i could put up with that but the doors are so small and when you go to look out window all you can see is the door pillers.

just need to get some nice hatch style arches fitted to the back :) and a few other finishing touches to the outside (like finding a set of rear window surrounds)

yea, vaux gave up the idea i think as ppl at the time thought it as a bit of a false economy, havin a boot but only 2 doors - i dont think they sold well so the model was dropped........

jus chuck a dash and front end on a mk1

Migh be worth taking a trawl round all the local small garages near you. I kept looking on autotrader and in the classifieds but never saw any for months - then decided to actually get off my arse and look lol, and found loads of them, all one careful old lady owners with hardly any rust. Traders said they usually didn't bother advertising them as they weren't worth much and "everybody prefers hatches anyway". Hmm :wink:

what s the hmmm windows surrounds about. my old saloon had chrome window suounds and chrome roof gutters. how ever dumb as me took the rear windows out tinted them cleaned all the chrome up and went to put them in me hatch back and they are and inch shorter or longer cant remember. doh :x

nope, hatch ones are longer. Also i think the saloon ones curve down in the bottom corner where as hatch ones are straight.

theres a saloon in the scrappy by me so i will go have a look at that today.
