remote central locking problems!!

Im having some problems with my GTE i just bought if anyone can help!!
for some reason the drivers side door pin is jammed in the unlock position, and i cant even physically push it down?!?! The remote locking unit also does not lock the doors, only activates the alarm. the main problem is just that i know nothing bout how the system operates! could anyone tell me where the circuit would be located to activate the central locking from the remote as i cant lock my car at the mo!! cheers guys

check if uve got a loose connection newhere, bare wire etc, it may not push down becos the pin is screwed 2 tight on to the screw thread that it goes on to , that was my mates problem neway :roll: just screw it back a few threads
