inner or outter cv joint???

if inner not too dificult!
if outter quite easy!!

the only difference between the two r wiv the inner joint u got to be careful of dumping gearbox oil all over the place!

the hardest part is getting the retaining clips off the joint if u haven't got the correct circlip pliers

not hard at all..

u willl need 30mm socket and breaker for drivehsaft nut, and then 2 13mm sockets or spanners for the bolt that holds the ball joint in.. then u just split the ball joint.. pull the shaft out, slip the cv off using long nose pliers or circlip pliers and replace boot or cv or wotever u need 2..

probly missed something out but hope thats some help 2 ya

just literally put a new boot on my nova (outer cv). jack up car, remove wheel, just undo the bottom ball joint from the hub (use two 13mm sockets, one each end, then retract the boot from the joint, then get in there and get the circlip open, then just separate the shaft from the cv, job done. as lidon says, inner can be worse due to gearbox oil, i had my driveshaft out of my g'box the other day, fluid loss was minimal though.
