mark 1 nova, 15" alloys dont know whether to buy -40mm or -60mm lowering springs. anyone help?

if you're sticking to standard shocks, i'd avoid a 60mm drop

40mm is really the lowest you can go on standard shocks, if you go for 60mm there will be hardly any absorbtion from the shock absorbers as they will compressed down. At 60mm you will be changing your shocks a lot of times, but most people at 40mm don't have any complaints at all.
Stay with 40mm

even at -40 on standard shocks is a rocky ride. n like sum mechanics say it can be unsafe.

in some cases
standard shocks + lowering spring + big bump = springs go bye bye !

40mm shud b ok but i wud use uprated and shortened shocks too!!!
