View Full Version : Release baring on clutch....
How much would a garage charge/how long would it take or how hard is it to do?
assuming the gearbox input shaft comes out similar to the smaller gearboxes it should be doable in an hour, including fitting a new clutch.
is it that noisy, that you feel the need to change it? personally I'd leave it till you have to fit a new clutch

if ur having the release bearing changed get the clutch done aswell
will b cheaper than getting the clutch done seperately as the release bearing is part of the clutch kit.
it wud take about 1-2hrs labour is newhere from ?30-?70 per hr depends on where u go
hope this helps neil!

yeh I agree cambridge...or fit a new clutch while you do the release bearing :?
