Alloy fuel cap on 5DR?

yo boys rite, i bort an alloy fuel cap of sum1 in leicester who was breakin

his SR (3dr) and i went to fit it and its not having ne of it...i removed the

rubber surround to my existing fuel cap thinking that would make the

space but it seems the filler neck isnt "out" enough fot it to go on??

any suggsetions?

the 5door cap is completely different from a 3 dr and wont fit.

far as i no they dont make them for a 5door, i still have my crap plastic cap.
