dashboard and central locking??

Im having a few probs wiv me GTE i just bought, and as i know next to nothing bout these babies yet sum help would be very handy!!
Right firstly the dash lights, speedo and air blower dont work, however all fuses seem to be ok (does some kind of relay opearte them all?)
Secondly, central locking does not operate from the remote, and the drivers side door pin is jammed in the unlock position (seized locking motor??) AND solenoid in boot seems functional but boot will not unlock wiv remote.
Any help really appreciated guys nice 1.

ok, check a few of the bulbs in the dash, a whole load of mine were blown.

Try taking the door card off and checking nothing is blocking the door pin lock mechanism. I'm assuming the door still locks ok, just not from the door pin, so i guess its a problem with the pin jamming somewhere.

Seems like you have a problem with the remote as well, seen as its not operating the central locking or the boot solenoid, possibly duff batteries i nthe remote?
