Suspension Question

i was wondering is there a difference between the suspension in a 1.2 nova and a 1.3 sr? i had springs and shocks bought for the 1.2 but i bought a 1.3 afterwards and i wanted to know could i put them in?

i got 1.3SR 40mm springs and uprated shocks on me 1.0l and they fitted fineand also lowered the car by 50mm lol coz the SR is 10mm lower to start wiv

Doh! ur SR is 40mm lower as the sus is lowering it from std by 40mm and ur SR at 10mm lower is not the std, they use the usual ride height of novas to measure how much lower they are. If that makes sense?!?!

Anyway i thought it was only the GTE or GSi that was 10mm lower as std?!?!?!

all nova and corsa b suspension is interchangable so they will fit no problem.

I think GTE/GSI/SRI is only different from standard (10 or 20mm drop).

Cause when u buy a kit it will say for *Vauxhall Nova - excluding GTE/GSI/SRI*.

so are GSI/GTE/SRI and 1200 shocks interchangable? Just a straight swap.

Can i put my Gmax kit from my 1.2 straight on a GSI and GSi be same height as 1200 for instance?
