Is there meant to be a gasket between the dip stick/oil breather pipe that joins to the block, with two bolts?

use that seam selaer i used between your cam carrier and the head.... may have been called instant gasket....?

i replaced this on my 20xe got the gasket from vaux and it was metal so i had to use some gasket sealer anyway.. not sure if its the same on the 8v

Use a ford cosworth 'turbo oil drain pipe-block' gasket
