View Full Version : My Nova before work begins. (new pics)

Hello peeps,

I just thought id post some new pics of my Nova Flair before the work begins for Donny, the work should of been started a couple of weeks ago but my dads mate who is doing the work on it has been very busy so hopefully the work should start this weekend.

Ive recently bought a Honda Jazz rear wiper for it which looks perfect :D , and i paided a visit to my local scrappy and bought the boot carpet that covers the rear archs, while i was there i got some GTE front door cappings and rear door cards, then i went to vauxhall and bought the plastic trim (normally found on nova vans???) that covers the ledge in the boot. ill keep posting pics of the work being done if anybody is interested?

Nar mate im not doing anythink OTT im just having it de-locked was going to de-handle it but i have now changed my mind after seeing some white novas with the handles colour coded, de-badged bonnet, brand new rear archs, colour code the door handles, new roof skin, brand new front headlights + clear indicators, and headlight covers, clear back lights thanx to dave.gsi, electric windows, have just fitted the central locking and connected it upto the alarm. alot more is to be done to the car after donny.

fappin gorgeous mate, imo i would say leave the colour coding tho? i think the door handles need to be black to break up the white a bit?

hes already said what hes having done. does it need new rear arches? doesnt look like it on that pic, gorgeous car though m8!

Mike the price was ?21 and the part number is 76740 - SAA - 004 oh and yeh they are Renault rims


jbobo, the rear archs arnt to bad they are showing some signs of rust, but im replacing them now before the respray so i dont have to replace them in the future and get it painted again lol.

P.S dosnt anyone fancie leaving a comment on my feature lol ive only got 18 hehe :oops:

Cheers for the comments peeps, ive got a couple of more mods to be done, clear rear lights are on the way thanx to dave.gsi, and also im waiting for my Manta 400 mirrors to come, ill post some pics when the stuff is fitted. i forgot to mention while the car is being resprayed in glacia white im having the bumpers (front will be a GSi item) and skirts resprayed in anthracite to be a bit different :)

The SR badge on the grill is from a Mk1 SR, and i bought a crome VAUXHALL badge from the dealers, and for the NOVA SR i bought a Frontera for the 'N' and another Vauxhall for the 'V' the 'S' i got off an Astra badge at the scrapy and the 'R' was took from the Frontera. hope that makes sense lol.
