Where to get radiator from for 2ltr 8v...

Need new one, whats best one to get baring in mind of the fan.

i used the standard rad on my XE. ran fine, could uy not use your old rad?

yeah could use my old one but i think it's on its way out, spotted a bit of water at bottom of it. so i need a new one anyway, its 12 years old.

So what type should i get?

i used the nova gte one on my 2.0l 8v and that works fine.

so could get a GSI or GTE radiator, as it's bigger engine, or just got for another 1.2i one?

a valeo gsi rad is only ?50. just get the best u can find in the scrappy. so long as it isnt the really tiny 1 thats on 1.0's

any good motor factors. try sheffield imported or pages. dont know if mine came from vauxhall threw trade club though should be around ?50/?60

neil get the radiator the same as in yours.

its not much bigger.

and for that engine you dont need to uprate it.

if you dont get the same i can almost garuntee that the fan wont fit.

i bought a gsi/gte one cos i thought id be better off. turned out it was the same size and i couldnt get my fan to fit. so i got another 1.4sr model rad. fitted fine. all my old shit went on, and it was the same size.

fan will still bolt on .. just won't reach the bottom clips

I have a GTE rad with a 1.2i fan. As ste says top clips on fine, but bottom doesnt reach the clips. It is still secure though so its not a problem
