what i would like to know is that if your car doesnt have a rev counter, are you able to fit a tachometer?

yes you need to run a cable to the ignition coil

you run a wire from the bottom right hand spade terminal on the ignition coil, to the back of your dash where there should be another spade terminal on the revy side of the dash. this only aplys to the 1.2/1.3 carb ignition system!!

its very easy, if its a mk2 you have then undo the srcews an take out eh clocks an get at that way or if you have a mk 1 prepare to skin your hands to get out the clocks buy pushing the top back and pulling it out.
