Front Panel

Right, The front panel on my car is rusty, so i bought a new one to get it replaced but i have noticed some cars are running without them, am i going to be ok without one or should i replace it???

are you talking about the slam panel or the lower box section??

some ppl have them pinned in so they can be takin out when ur doin somate to the engine makin it esier especially for the exhaust manifiold..i suppose they do give some stuctural strenght but not much, if u have a seam weldin bay do it! i would and may still

im gunna cut out the slam pannel and get anther one that i can bolt in and out. its only cos mine is rotten and its the only bit letting the bay down now. by the looks of it its well flimsy so i dont recon it gives much strength.
