where is it snapping?

the cable itself or the L shapped bit that goes to the peddel??

ive had one snap on the L shaped bit, looked like a piss poor casting to be fair.

put the GM one back in and its been fine ever since

Last year i had 5.

2 in the same day aswell,

The AA came out to fit it the first time, then when it went again the same day the next AA guy said he'd completely bodged it!

4 times its snapped at the L shaped bit on the pedal and the 5th time the L shapped bit had just poped outta the pedal cuz it was beginning to wear away.

Touch wood though, ive had this cable for the last 3 months with no problems.

For about the last 2 months ive been carrying a spare cable behind the door cards just in case it goes

just fitted my new cable and the clutch is so much lighter, nicer to drive as well, clutch movement isn't as jerky

had my motor for three years never had the cable go and its creaked for all that time, (probable mechanism needs a lube)
