now im a pro at getting cut to feck while working on hummers, but today was a new one


the top balljoints are held in with 4 High Tensile M8 bolts which poke out upwards. i was undoing the top shock absorber bolt (1-1/2" nut) and slipper, lots of swearing and kicking bodywork etc later ive bruised my middle right finger lol.

whole hand went numb, nealry contemplated going for a hand shandy, but my hand hurt too much.


shame there wasnt any snow outside to plunge me hand into.

well it was more like a torrent of curse, in 3 languages lol

i woud have used a lump hamer on the entire hummer till my hand felt better
when i cut all me thumb open on a stanly knife
the knife was thrown in one direction the light fittin i was workin on went the t'other and me hammer was thrown against a concrete wall lol

seriously now, did you give your wrist or elbow a clout??
I once fell of a piece of farm equipment & landed on my right elbow, and my hand was numb for about 8 weeks. it works fine now

i batterd my elbow the other day undoing the head bolts lol, not much space on one of those.



it was my middle finger, still swollen, but a night on the lash has helped lol
