hot air gun or meths/white spirit and rub it off with paper towels. Give it a few good polishes afterwards to remove any dull marks.

It depends what yr your nova is.. if it's a Mk 2 then they should just be stuck on with foamy glue, but mk 1's are usually rivetted through the bodywork !

if it's just glued on with the foamy stuff then get a Hair Drier and heat up the "bump strip" not too much, cos you don't want to damage the paint. The with lotsa hot soapy water start peeling them off, if your paints in good condition they will just tear off (i didn't even use a hot air source, just ragged mine off) Once you've peeled them off go get yourself some 3G Sticker remover. It's quite an investment ! beause it's specially formulated it doesn't do anything to your paint work and the foamy stuff will literally wipe off with a cloth ones you've slapped a bit of it on. easy as that

That 3G stuff is well worth it, can use it to remove sticky marks safely from anything ! well wroth it

If your paint is slightly brighter where the strip ran, get some T-cut and give the sides/ the whole car a goood t-cut, this will blend it all in together !

hope that helps

dont use tissue
used an old tshirt or something coz tissue will scratch your car

use a hair drier and it should just come off nicely, it is glued on that is. Just dont use a knife to force it off as this scratches it
