Engine control indicator

Just noticed that my engine control indicator keeps coming on.What does it mean?

u mean ur ecu light, it telling u there is a fault cant be that bad a fault if ur engine is still runiing get the fault codes read of or if u can do it yourself?

its very often just a sensor (or connection to a sensor) thats died. if the light been on effects your fuel consumption get it sorted quick, otherwise do it when u can be bothered!
