Car Won't Start

My CAr Was Going Fine The Other Day But Now It Wont Start.The Battery Is Fine,There's Petrol.I've Check Everything.Does Any1 Know Any Reasons Why?

will the starter motor turn over of is it just clickin?

Yeh its got a fuel pump and yeh it makes a whinning noise.I think the engine just keeps flooding and then it wont spark.

i take it uve checked the plugs arnt wet
+ there all workin

try and push start it.(pref down a hill) use 2nd gear or do it backwards and use reverse)... worked on mine.

just two last things

is the alarm all connected in
my sr used to just turn over if the plug was pulled out of the alarm

also is the imboliser ok?

got the car goin by changing spark plugs leads and cleaning the carb with carb cleaner. the problem now is that the timing is wrong as i was movin the dis. it now throws flames out the exhaust and up the carb. i also think it is over rich as it leaves a dry black suity deposit on the sparks after only a short time running. any one know how to adjust fuel mixture
