Glove Box Light

I know most base Novas didnt have one due to vaux wanting to cut costs, so i thought id add one, i took the box out and noticed that the light fittings were on the loom (probably for the GSi)

so i went to vauxhall, bought the light cover, bulb and pin switch, i fitted it all on, but it doesnt work, it cant be the bulb as ive tried 6 brand new bulbs!

is there anything ive possibly missed?

ignition needs to be on! & check fuse. (sorry if there a bit obvious but weve all done it!)

but the door lights work fine, and as for the fuse, its a new unit so surely that would be fine???

use a meter to check for current..

is the wire grey/green.... if so then sidelights needed
