astra max diff, cav sri box

A few questions please, the astra max diff is good for acceleration (sp?) how is the whole box with the diff in a 1.2 nova would there still be good uptake? (like is the box itself CR or just the diff useful)
Would bigger close ratio boxes like in the cav 8v sri fit these small engines like the 1.2 cause I know bigger engines like 1.6, 2.0 have bigger flywheels so would the box fit and would i need the correct flywheel? I looked over some previous posts but could'nt find these particular details. Cheers.

dont think they will fit the small block mate, best ber is to get urself a cr box and stick a final drive of 4.18 4.29 or 4.53 these are attainable by not just the diff but the combination of 2 cogs the ring gear and the final drive on the mainshaft, lay shaft i think.. the cogs range from 17 18 19 20 on the small cog and 67 71 73 77 on the large the large cog.. ie 71 divided by 17 = 4.1764 which is the fd ratio... :wink:
