Shaking/Loose Spark plug socket

On the head, the third socket (where the spark plugs plug into) seems to be loose, you can grab it and rattle it. All the others are perfectly stiff

When the engine runs a clicking sound can be heard coming from this plug and it rattles like hell !?

is it meant to do that ? lol

erm, if you have tightened the plug up and it still rattle then the tread on either block or plug is f****d new plug or engine.

can it not be tapped

so do i just try and screw it tight !?

take the lead off and see if it will tighten

dont use a wrench tho

get the correct socket and a long extension bar and use the extension like a screwdriver untill it wont turn anymore

then attach a wrench and give it a little nip up


if it just keeps turning then youve either got a damaged plug or knackered head - take the plug out and have a look
