Nova paint

Im gonna be respraying my nova shortly. What i wanna know is what i need to do basically. I dont mean spraying i mean what paint is it? A friend told me its base coat and laquer. Is that what i need or is it the actual paint but no laquer??

It depends if it's a solid or metalic metalic you would need laq a solid would just be paint and no laq
